My son meets his teacher today!

I am so excited my son meets his teacher today! He is my last child to go to school. He is going to kindergarten. I have worries already like I did with my others. Like will he find his class? Will he no where to go? Will he make friends? and so on. Do you have a child just starting this year? What are your worries? Is it just me!?

I am excited for him to learn! I am also excited to meet his teacher and see my first impression of him or her. And this is a new school to me to so I need to check it out myself.

  2. How wonderful. I am very excited for him. My Little Man who is always very loud and crazy, of course, was very shy when he met his teacher, but he loved her

  3. what an exciting time! i was a bit sad when my last child started school, but all of the kids loved it and had great teachers which made it easier on old mom, LOL. my 'baby' is a sophomore in college now and he was the last of 4 to leave the nest 2 weeks ago. good luck and enjoy the quiet mommy time!

  7. Aww! That must be so hard! I'm going to home-school mine, I'm too paranoid about schools these days lol. I can't imagine what it would feel like to send my last baby to school though, I would be a hot mess haha!

  9. I remember that first day of school for my kindergarteners. They seemed to little for school. That was my 2 oldest ones, the kids after them - next 5, we decided to homeschool them. So no worries there! :-)

  10. Aw how exciting! I have a ways to go before we come to that milestone but I know it's going to be emotional (probably moreso for this mama than the little one lol)

  12. My son's on the birthday bubble. He is still five and school starts right after he turns six.

He was passed to 1st grade but was on the fence. After working with him all summer, we've asked for him to repeat Kindergarten. It was a TOUGH decision, but I think the right one. Same teacher, same school so I'm not real nervous this go-around.

Good luck to your little one!

  13. My baby started 1st grade this year! Last year was a tough one for me due to my Jade being shy but she seemed to make friends very fast and now she LOVES school! I'm sure your little man will do just fine :)
